Cici and Grumps got suckered into “playing legos with the boys”. What really happens is the boys sit there while you search for all of the pieces and they do nothing. I’m a fellow sucker. Nightly. 😜
Sweet, chunky hands 💕
Cooking pasta with daddy
We had our first tutorial on taking a shower by themselves in their own shower (yes, I made sure they scrubbed everywhere). Charlie loved the independence of it and Tuck carried on a bit. Pretty typical.
What a pouty face!
And to the doctor’s office we go. Thomas had a checkup scheduled anyways so I took Tuck with me when he woke up with a fever! With all this flu going around I got scared! It was just a little fever virus & is gone. Thank goodness.
Little man was given the green light at his four month appointment to try rice and puréed fruits & veggies. So we tried rice first. He was a little unsure about it. He didn’t hate it, but he wasn’t asking for more or anything. Think he was glad to try something new.
Home from school means he had to go to work with mommy for a minute. Kid/work logistics are hard when our normal family help is out of pocket!!!!!
Then we tried bananas……and he wanted more. And more. They were definitely a hit. And he was definitely ready for food. Boyfriend sucked up anything that dribbled out 😜.
My babies at the table together ❤️
Making valentines for our school friends and family. This took a minimum of 1.5 hours. Wore. Me. Out.
Buddies watching the figure skaters. They were in awe. ⛸
Can’t. Keep. His. Hands. Off. Thomas. Or anyone. But mainly Thomas in our house. He’s a sweet boy though with a heart of gold.
My baby boy
Cousin time at daycare 😜
Charlie cooking with daddy. They look so forward to this.
“Hibernation Day” at school. They celebrated by using tents, flashlights and bringing animals that hibernate to school. They had a blast!!!
We took the whole crew to the races, oh yes we did.
The big boys favorite part of Oaklawn?! “All the money” 😜🤷🏼♀️
Lots of winners here
Doc and his buddies
My boys 💕
When all else fails…..whip out the electronics
Watching the horses saddle up
My big boy turned 4 months old today!!!! This happy boy has added yelling/talking, putting everything into his mouth, trying to sit up and watching his brothers to his list of his favorite things to do.
So disgusting. But I’m glad they ate. Too bad they used their pjs as napkins afterwards.😕
Hoping for enough snow to build a snowman
Tuck couldn’t wait to make hot chocolate and drink it by the fire 💕
Snowball fight! You can imagine how this ended. If you can’t, it ended in tears and tattle tailing.
Other than my finger being in it, it was a pretty cute pic 🤪
Roasting marshmallows with Doc
Precious smile 😊
We are implementing a new helper program over here so everyone gets equal attention from Ben & I. Tuck was my helper this week, so he made sandwiches for everyone. He did a great job! He only licked his hands a few times 😆
Charlie was daddy’s helper so they made spaghetti together. They love to cook. And help.
Howdy there Doctor Cowboy Tuck Sir
Today was a very special day for Thomas. He was baptized today at St James! Greg was also the pastor that baptized the boys and Ben so we were very glad he was able to baptize Thomas as well!
So the buddies got some puppets for Christmas and promptly put on a show for Thomas 💙💙
They thought the puppets were HILARIOUS 😂
Legos. Legos. Legos. Knees deep in legos over here. Tucker loves him some legos. He will tell you what kind of lego he needs, wait patiently while you search for it, and then build it like a champ following the directions word for word. He just needs an assistant you see.
Charlie likes to build as well. He does not like to follow the directions-he likes to do it his own way. (Story of his life. Comes by it honest, though. I don’t really care for instructions myself.😐 I cannot begin to tell you how many recipes/toy assemblies I have jacked up because of this.) He also will (impatiently) wait while you search. But his favorite part is the destruction. Always has been. We spent a good hour on this motorcycle and it probably lasted in tact an hour or less. He just can’t stand it.
Sorry for the really short blog post. This was a crazy work week and we rounded it off with a stomach virus. 😐
This little man is 3 months old this week!!!! I am absolutely, 100% in love with him. I think he feels the same 🤗 He loves to be held, to eat, his paci!!!, sweet talk, to talk back, baths, his brothers and his mommy and daddy.
